Agenda

DDS Monthly Plenary Open Call — October 1, 2026

This month's call is a working session. We'll start building the shared collection of open standards, tools, evaluation criteria and real-world use cases for deliberation, and plan presentations for the coming calls.

Agenda

  1. Welcome and framing: W3C Code of Conduct, a note on recording and transcription, a short recap of the September call.
  2. Action items from September: shared collection on GitHub, Canonical Debate Lab evaluation criteria, resources on broad-listening practice in Japan, summary and path forward.
  3. Seeding session: each participant names one or two standards, tools or use cases they know or work on, with a few self-chosen tags. Please come with your examples ready!
  4. What emerges? A first look at recurring tags, overlaps and gaps.
  5. Next calls: meeting format, presenters for November, and a preview of the DDS–DEL relationship discussion (#20) planned for November.

Background: September call archive

Facilitator: Simone Vagnoni. Everyone is welcome, and no W3C account is needed.
